![]() They don't mention it in their listings so I called to confirm it existed. Our first indication of what to expect was the airport shuttle. This hotel was a pretty standard-looking place but went the extra mile to make our stay miserable. It was about as loud as a lawnmower in your front yard with the doors and windows. The room also came with a loud metallic whine that sounded like a mistuned car starting. I liked the many plug-in options on the bedstand and desk for charging my electronics. ![]() The room had a fairly standard size and layout but with little closet space or luggage handling options. The room itself was what set this stay apart from other hotel stays. ![]() The layout of the hotel was confusing, which made finding our room entertaining. Minor issue and probably to the betterment of my waistline, but annoying. After arriving in the room, I realized the desk staff had not offered, commented on, or provided DoubleTree's signature cookies. When we arrived, check-in was smooth, but the desk staff couldn't help with a problem where I was double booked at another Hilton hotel (a missed connecting flight and lack of immediate alternatives being why we stayed here). During our wait, I saw the many other local hotel shuttles cycle through 2 or 3 times. We then proceeded to wait almost 50 minutes in frigid 30 degree December weather for it to show up. ![]() ![]()
